He passed from this life October 13, 2016 in Albuquerque, NM at the age of 63. Craig lived life to the fullest, was quite a charmer, had a big heart, and a great sense of humor. He was a miner and Indian jewelry salesman for most of his life. As such he lived and traveled all over the country, including some of his favorite places; Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada and of course, his home state of New Mexico. One of his favorite places in New Mexico was Red River.

Craig was raised in Gallup, NM and graduated from Gallup High school in 1971. He joined the United States Army and became part of the 82nd Airborne. After leaving the Army, Craig returned to Gallup and went to work mining uranium outside of Grants, NM. He married Jodee Krivokapich and they had a daughter together. Craig continued his life as a miner moving to Red River, NM.

Eventually he moved to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho where he mined silver. He worked in the Caladay Silver shaft in the 80's and he was the best Clam operator of his time. His fellow miners loved him and said he was an all-around miner. Eventually, he found a job in Elko, Nevada where he found what he considered a small mountainous village called Lamoille, which was a place he never wanted to leave. Unfortunately, he felt he had to leave with his wife, Polly Hall and move to the Atlanta area.

Finding Atlanta not for him, he moved back to New Mexico where he spent his last few years nearer to family and friends. Craig is survived by his estranged wife, Polly Hall of Kennesaw, Ga. He is also survived by his daughters Ann Padilla of Queen Creek, AZ, Michelle Garcia of Gallup, NM and Ondrea Barber of Phoenix, AZ. He leaves behind five grandchildren; Courtney Burch, Emily Padilla, Darian Barber, Mataya Barber, and Katia Barber. He also has one great-grandson, Mason Snyder.

He is also survived by his two sisters and their families, Leah NeumannHall of Ruidoso, NM and her son Calvin Beavers of Albuquerque, NM and Micah Woodul, her husband, Chris Woodul and their sons Kyler Woodul and Grady Woodul also of Ruidoso, NM. He also leaves behind many friends, who will miss Craig dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Morris, his father and stepmother Calvin and Dani Hall, and his step-father Jim Frye.
