We are excited to announce a new agreement with Western Technical College - Company! This new agreement allows students in Western's IT-Data and Analytics Specialist program to transfer at least 47 core Data Analytics courses and 13 credits of general studies courses into Viterbo University’s new IT-Data Analytics program. In 2008, the Viterbo University D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership began publishing books on issues of ethics and leadership. Their latest release comes from Viterbo's Richard Kyte, entitled "Finding Your Third Place."Do you have a third place? Your first place is home, your second place is work, and your third place is where you go to socialize and build friendships. Yet, for several reasons, many people today find themselves without a third place of their own. At a time when our nation is facing an epidemic of loneliness and communities are suffering from a loss of trust, low levels of engagement, despair, and political polarization, what if the answer to many of our problems lies in a simple idea? What if we just need to pay attention to the places where we find ourselves?A book launch for Finding Your Third Place by Richard Kyte will take place at Pearl Street Books in La Crosse, Wis. on Tuesday, June 25 at 6:30 p.m. The event will include a brief presentation by the author followed by a book signing and discussion.
