Locals Are Kooks - So typical that the "locals" are the kooks that can't really surf. It's probably the only side of "surf culture" that they can actually practice, but should only be practiced at spots where the wave is actually good and should be protected from those with bad manners. I have surfed up and down Florida and have surfed circles around kooks who gave me stink eye. The surfers who actually ripped were the coolest, chillest people I ever met. Those are the ones that matter to me and keep the surf spirit alive. Pay no attention to local kooks with nothing better to do than to be a dickhe*d to someone who doens't know any better.

So not true - It's not true that you have to walk to the break, there is a parking lot right in front.
What is true, is the inbreads, i mean locals!
i did come across a couple of good local surfers that were cool, but other than them, what a bunch of d-bags. I must have said hello to three guys after a pretty good sesh, and they just stared me down like I was carrying a bz sponge longboard or something. sorry guys, not my fault your parents didn't raise you right. just try to learn how to surf, maybe you'll be a little happier.

peace out fools, untill next time i steal your waves while you watch on the beach.

Locals - The only locals that will give you a hard time are the ones who can't surf. They have to fall back on thier bad grammar and threaten others to feel some sense of worth.

I have surfed the Rocks longer than most of the locals have been alive. The true locals want grommies and new people to visit. Surfing is about having fun and making friends out in the water. Anything else is for the kooks.
