Once Human: Best Places To Farm Acid (2024)

Once Human players will need lots of Acid to craft various recipes, including the Tier 3 Aluminium. This precious resource can be found by killing most Stardust-corrupted enemies in the game, especially the Jellyfish ones.

Here are six different zones where players can get the best Acid farming in the game, with tips on the best routes to take, enemies, spawning rates, and also information on the defense events fans can trigger to get more Acid. Bring lots of ammo, and good luck with the hunt!

1 Dayton Hospital

Between 20 To 30 Per Run

• Zone Level: 7

Dayton Hospital can be found in the northeastern part of the Dayton Wetlands zone. To farm Acid in this zone, start by entering from the Southern entrance, then go to the center, to the fountain area, and clear the eastern wing of the buildings. Then go North along the parking lot, kill the Elite, and go West. Enter the hospital then drop South, killing the nurses and the Elite in the first plant of the hospital, then exit through the parking lot and go to the south entrance.

Repeat this route and players can acquire an average of 40 to 55 Acid units per run. Just be careful if you are in a PvP server since there are lots of buildings that are perfect spots for sniping.

2 Sutherland Chemical Plant

Between 30 To 45 Per Run

• Zone Level: 14

Sutherland Chemical Plant can be found in the center of the Broken Delta area. When players reach the southern entrance, they should start farming toward the center, kill the Elite in the eastern building, and keep following the pipes while killing the Jellyfish enemies. Then go north following the oil tanks, and enter the main building in the West. Kill the Furnace Elite, and then go down south through the west buildings.

If players manage to find the Sutherland Chemical Plant Access Card V1, they can activate the Refinery event in the main building. The event consists of defending the machine from three waves of enemies and Elites. Once fans complete the event they'll receive 50 to 75 Acid among other useful items.

3 Monolith Of Greed Danger Zone

Between 30 To 50 Per Run

• Best Route: South> East> North > West - Repeat
• Avg. respawn time: 1:20 (Normal) 2:35 (Elites)
• Zone Level: 10

The Gaia Monolith Danger Zone can be found at the center of the Broken Delta area, on the highest peak. There are two entrances to the complex, North and South, but it's recommended to take the south exit and go up until players reach the Monolith (Dungeon) area. Then climb down the way you came.

Alongside the path, players might find several Elites, which drop in between 3 and 4 Acid units (and also gunpowder). This is a good place to get other useful resources but beware, enemies can swarm players since respawn timers are lower in this zone. This is also a contested zone, so watch out for enemy players.

4 Hearst Industries

Between 20 To 40 Per Run

• Zone Level: 11

Hearst Industries can be found on the southeastern side of Broken Delta, near the limit with Dayton Wetlands. This zone can be complex to farm, so try to go to the central area near the oil refinery, and move east following the pipes. Kill the elites along the path, then turn north toward the warehouses.

As players move through the buildings, check for another elite near the entrance of the main warehouse. Move to the west and drop towards the center to repeat the route.

5 Eastern Railway Junction

Between 30 To 45 Per Run

• Zone Level: 14

The Eastern Railway Junction can be found in the northernmost part of the Broken Delta area. Follow the train tracks near the south entrance until the central deposit area is reached. Kill all the Jellyfish, normal enemies, and the Elites, then turn east toward the warehouse. Watch out for the fog, as it will limit the field of vision and make fans vulnerable to ambushes.

Once players are done clearing the enemies, run toward the east zone, kill another Elite, and go back to the southern entrance. If players have the Eastern Railway Junction Access Card V1, they can start the Refinery event. Same as with the Sutherland Chemical Plant event, players will receive 50 to 75 Acid when they defeat all the waves of enemies.

6 Greywater Industrial Zone

Between 40 To 70 Per Run

• Best Route: South> Center> East - Repeat
• Avg. respawn time: 1:45 (Normal) 3:25 (Elites)
• Zone Level: 23

The Greywater Industrial Zone is located in the northern part of the Iron River area, and this is by far the best place to farm Acid in Once Human. From the southern entrance, go to the center and take down several enemies, then turn to the east and follow the building lines to the warehouse area. Here, players can gather a lot of useful scrap items that will help them craft their first car.

Clear the normal and Elite enemies, and don't forget about the flying Jellyfish enemies hiding among the Oil Tanks and Pipes. Most of these enemies have a greater resource yield than in other areas, and their respawn times are average. But players have to be at least level 23 before they try to farm in this zone.
