Enjoy a pint at Mathews Brewing Co.

Featuring award-winning beers along with live music several nights per week, the brewery has become a go-to spot in Lake Worth Beach. Tasty and refreshing, some of their beers also sport great names like Night Prowler, L-Dub Tropical Ale, Junk Yard Dog, Southern Nights and Seek & Destroy. In addition, the place recently opened Mathews Brewing Co. Scratch Kitchen, a restaurant only a few steps away from the brewery. Guests can order from the brewery via at QR code and have food including New York and Detroit-style pizza, smash burgers, scotch eggs, fish & chips delivered.

Feel the heat at Lake Worth Beach Bonfires

Revelers can head to the beach to catch some live music, enjoy the crackling goodness of a roaring blaze and dance around like they're on fire (not really, but feel free to dance). This event, sponsored by the city and weather dependent, is a huge draw that happens on select Fridays during the winter season.

Fun Depot

Featuring hundreds of arcade games from the most modern to old-school favorites, Fun Depot has been a one-stop shop for great family fun since 1988. It offers a half-mile-long go-kart track, a 4,000 square-foot, black-lit, fog-filled arena for laser tag and a 20-lane state-of-the-art bowling alley at their new restaurant, Cordial. The restaurant opened in 2023 and offers a chef-inspired menu centered on upscale bar food to accompany a full bar with craft beers from local brewers.

Explore the Snook Islands

Get out and explore this 118-acre wetland just north of the Lake Avenue Bridge on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway and see birds like American oystercatchers, green sea turtles and even manatees. The area can be accessed by a boardwalk or, if you're feeling extra intrepid, by kayak. Created in 2005, this project took an area of the Lake Worth Lagoon that was a 'dead zone' and, through the hard work of the Palm Beach County Environmental Resource Management Team, it is now teeming with life.

Established in 1926, this is a user-friendly course featuring mature trees and cool sea breezes. Life can be oh so sweet!

Watch as the downtown thoroughfares Lake and Lucerne avenues are transformed into a horizontal art gallery as more than 600 artists use the pavement as their canvas. Held in February each year, and recently celebrating its 30th anniversary, this popular festival attracts tens of thousands of spectators and artists from all over the country. In addition to the sights, there is live music and the festival is a great way to check some of the great restaurants in the area.

Catch a show at the Lake Worth Playhouse

Ride the wild surf at Lake Worth Beach

Whether you ride a surfboard, body board, body surf or even skim board, the waves on both the north and south side of the William O. Lockhart Pier can be a blast. Remember to always check with the lifeguards to see if the public beach areas are open to surfing.
